Meet Dr. Monsalve

Carlos H. Monsalve Pediatric Dentist in Herndon, VA

My goal is for your child to have a comfortable and positive experience at the dentist. I strongly feel that starting a child off with a positive dental experience can be the beginning of a lifetime of great oral health.

Dr. Monsalve attended the National University in Bogotá, Colombia. In 1989, he graduated with a degree in General Dentistry. Prior to earning his dental degree, he worked as a certified Dental Technician. In 1994, he was accepted into the Pediatric Dentistry Specialty Program at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. After graduating in 1996, he was chosen for a one-year fellowship in Pediatric Hospital Dentistry at the Children's Medical Center of Dallas, an affiliate of the prestigious Baylor University College of Dentistry.

Following the completion of his fellowship, Dr. Monsalve practiced at the Children's Hospital of Baltimore and in a private practice in Maryland. In early 2002, he, his wife and his two children moved to Florida to open a private practice. In 2007, due to family reasons, Dr. Monsalve moved back to Virginia. He currently practices full-time in his office in Herndon.
